Yes. We work with founders, creators, growing brands, established operators, retailers, and enterprise teams. The right starting point depends on the product, level of readiness, quantity, timeline, and support required not simply the size of the company.
Private label is the clearest path when you want to begin with a production-ready formula. Custom manufacturing is designed around a new brief, a benchmark, a supplied formula, or a specific performance target. OTC is the dedicated path for products regulated as over-the-counter drugs. Share what you want to create and our team can help identify the appropriate route.
Bring whatever is already clear: the product category, intended customer, desired benefits, important ingredients, products you admire, packaging preferences, expected quantity range, target timing, and where the brand stands today. A complete technical brief is helpful, but it is not required for the first conversation.
Yes. A program can include several products and may combine private-label and custom-development workstreams. Listing the complete portfolio vision early helps us understand priorities, shared packaging opportunities, launch sequencing, and the best way to scope the work.
A typical project moves through discovery, pathway selection, scope and commercial alignment, formula selection or development, samples and approvals, packaging and label coordination, quality and regulatory checkpoints, production, and fulfillment or handoff. The exact sequence is tailored to the product and its regulatory classification.
It is an existing, production-ready formula that can become the foundation of your branded product in as little time as 2-3 weeks end to end. This route can reduce early development work and can deliver your product faster.
Custom work starts from a defined product brief, benchmark, supplied formula, or performance objective. Our R&D and manufacturing teams evaluate the concept for feasibility, development, scale-up, quality requirements, and commercial production. The final scope depends on the product and the evidence needed to support it.
Yes. An existing private-label formula can be modified. Because ingredients interact with one another, even a single change can affect stability, preservation, texture, performance, claims, sourcing, cost, testing, and manufacturing. Our team will evaluate your requested modification and recommend the best development pathway to achieve your goals.
Yes. You do not need a chemistry background or a finished formula to begin. A clear description of the customer, product experience, desired benefits, benchmark products, ingredient preferences, and commercial goals gives the R&D conversation a strong starting point.
Yes, an existing formula can be submitted for technical and commercial review. We will need sufficient documentation to assess raw materials, specifications, manufacturing instructions, testing, scale-up, sourcing, regulatory fit, and whether the formula can run reliably in our facility.
Sampling and revision needs depend on the project pathway. Private-label evaluation, custom R&D, and OTC development each require a different approval process. The number of samples, revision rounds, evaluation criteria, fees, and timing are defined in the project scope before work begins.
YES. A benchmark can very much help communicate texture, appearance, scent, format, application, or performance expectations. We use it as technical and sensory context not as a promise to duplicate another company's protected formula, trade dress, or claims.
We can evaluate natural, organic, ingredient-exclusion, and brand-standard goals as part of the brief. The appropriate formula, raw-material documentation, supplier availability, certification pathway, label language, and claim support must be confirmed for each project before a final positioning statement is approved.
Ownership depends on where the formula originated and the signed project terms. Nature's Brands retains its stock formulas. A client retains a formula it lawfully supplies. The ownership, license, exclusivity, and any transfer rights for a formula developed or modified by Nature's Brands are defined in the applicable quotation, formulation agreement, or written addendum.
Our master agreement includes mutual confidentiality obligations for nonpublic information such as formulas, pricing, supplier information, product concepts, specifications, test results, manufacturing methods, and quality documents. Access is limited to people who reasonably need the information and are subject to confidentiality obligations. A separate mutual NDA may also be used before sensitive custom-formulation information is exchanged.
Our goal is to build a manufacturing path that can progress with the brand. Scale planning considers formula behavior, batch size, equipment fit, component supply, quality controls, production scheduling, and forecast visibility. Future capacity is confirmed against the actual program rather than assumed from an early sample run.
Our starting MOQ is 500 units for qualifying production-ready private-label products and 1,000 units for custom-formulation production. The final product-specific MOQ may be higher depending on the formula, batch requirement, fill size, raw materials, packaging components, testing, supplier minimums, and operational complexity. We confirm the applicable MOQ and pricing in the approved commercial documents for each project.
Timing depends on the formula pathway, sample and approval cycles, testing, raw-material and component availability, label review, regulatory classification, payment status, production volume, and manufacturing schedule. A realistic timeline can be provided after the scope and dependencies are understood. Any lead time is an estimate unless it is expressly guaranteed in writing.
Repeat planning works best with timely forecasts, approved specifications, current artwork, confirmed components, and clear inventory targets. Raw-material and packaging lead times can change, so reorder points and production timing should be reviewed before stock becomes urgent.
Plant visits can be requested with reasonable advance notice and require prior approval. Visits are coordinated during normal business hours around production, safety, quality, and client-confidentiality requirements, and access to proprietary or restricted areas may be limited. Our facility is located at 367 Labeling Way, Chattanooga, Tennessee 37419.
Yes. We work with packaging and component partners across containers, closures, pumps, jars, bottles, tubes, labels, and related formats. The available options depend on formula compatibility, fill requirements, order quantity, decoration, supplier availability, cost, and timeline.
Yes, subject to review and approval. Client-supplied or client-selected components must be suitable for the product and evaluated for specification, quality, compatibility, fill and closure performance, decoration durability, shipping durability, line fit, receiving requirements, and schedule. The client is responsible for the component selection and for supplying the requested production overage.
We can coordinate the manufacturing and technical information a label project requires and connect clients with design resources we work with. The client remains responsible for the content, accuracy, legality, claims, and final approval of its labels and artwork. A review by Nature's Brands does not transfer the brand owner's legal or regulatory responsibility unless expressly agreed in writing.
Fulfillment, storage, freight, and finished-goods handoff can be discussed as part of a turnkey program. The right arrangement depends on order profile, destination, inventory expectations, service level, system needs, and whether a specialized logistics partner is appropriate.
Our certifications page presents current evidence for dietary-supplement and cosmetic manufacturing systems and certified organic handling, including NSF/ANSI 455-2, GRMA, ISO 22716, and USDA-NOP records. It also identifies the FDA facility registration and FEI separately because FDA registration is not a certification or product approval. Always review each record for its current status, scope, standard, location, and issuing details.
Testing is determined by the product type, formula, packaging, intended use, claims, regulatory classification, and market. Depending on the project, the plan may include stability, compatibility, microbiological, heavy-metals, identity, potency, allergen, preservative-challenge, or retailer-required work. Additional and third-party testing is quoted separately and paid by the client unless the written commercial terms state otherwise.
We support manufacturing-related quality, documentation, certification, and label coordination within the agreed scope. The client remains responsible for its brand, labels, claims, advertising, website content, marketplace listings, retailer submissions, sales channels, and distribution obligations. Unless expressly agreed in writing, Nature's Brands does not provide legal advice or guarantee claim, marketplace, retailer, regulatory, or government approval.
Yes. We support OTC product-development programs and assess the qualified manufacturing pathway against the proposed active ingredient, intended use, current regulatory conditions, formula, testing, Drug Facts labeling, documentation, packaging, and commercial scope. Manufacturing scope is confirmed during technical and regulatory qualification.
No. The brand owner is responsible for ensuring that claims are accurate, lawful, and appropriately substantiated. Claims can affect product classification and may require specific formula evidence, testing, disclosures, or label language. Nature's Brands may decline to manufacture, label, ship, or support a product when its claims create regulatory, safety, quality, certification, legal, or reputational concerns.
Not automatically. Any certificate, certification statement, facility claim, mark, or logo involving Nature's Brands requires prior written approval and, when applicable, approval from the certifying body or mark owner. A facility or quality-system certification does not automatically mean that an individual finished product is certified.
Pricing is project-specific. Formula, ingredients, batch size, fill quantity, packaging, decoration, testing, development, labor, freight, services, and market conditions all influence cost. A useful estimate requires a defined product direction and quantity range. Product-specific pricing and MOQs are confirmed in a written Commercial Terms Addendum or other approved commercial document.
Submit the project inquiry with your contact information, product pathway, category, current stage, and a concise description of what you want to build. Include quantity, timing, packaging, benchmark, ingredient, and claims information when available. Our team can then review fit and identify the next useful conversation.
